This board governance workshop will cover board basics, better board meetings and structure, and recruiting new board members. Participants will have access to digital templates and tools to improve the way their board runs.  
 
July 26th | 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm | Donor Relations + Stewardship with Mary Peterson
Want more donors? Treat ‘em right! Since 2020, giving patterns have shifted as new and urgent needs have exploded, and as younger generations of donors have emerged as a philanthropic force. This interactive session will help you explore how best to engage, retain, and steward the kind and generous people who want to support the good work you and your organization are doing.

How can you ensure that they are recruited, trained, and engaged in a meaningful way that can lead to organizational success? Learn how volunteers can help expand your organizational capacity and advance your DEI objectives. Explore what to do when a volunteer goes rogue and how to best manage volunteer strengths to maintain a healthy nonprofit ecosystem. Join us in this interactive session to learn best practices around how to utilize, manage, recruit, and retain volunteers.
